Daggus Noodle Shop – Rebel Moon

The ramen shop, for Rebel Moon Director's Cut, where the heroes encountered the sword-woman on a Mining Colony of Daggus. From the idea that it would never close, we wanted this place to have a cyberpunk grungy lived-in vibe. With direction from Stephen Swain, I designed this set mixing the look of Asian noodle stall with a touch of American Diner Art Deco.
Here are the final concept along with an early sketch as well as seating designs. We looked at the bus stop style seating for something that would be uncomfortable to sit for a long time, as to churn through many customers as they could.
