This keyframe concept for The New Mutants illustrates the moment of silence when Dani Moonstar buried her family and reservation folks after a mysterious incident. Inspired by classic comic panels, I made a composition play with the foreground element to hint at the "demon" that would continue to haunt Dani throughout the story.
